Mr.Y.S.POWAR

Mr. Yogesh Sanjay Powar is a dedicated Mechanical Engineering academician with over 16 years of teaching experience in Polytechnic education. He holds a Master's degree (M.E.) in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Machine Design and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. His areas of interest include Machine Design, CAD/CAM, Engineering Graphics, Renewable Energy Systems, Sustainable Manufacturing, Smart Mechanical Systems, and Product Development. He has published several research papers in reputed national and international journals and has contributed to innovation through multiple design patents and a utility patent application. Mr. Powar has served as the Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department and has actively contributed to academic administration, Outcome-Based Education (NBA), curriculum implementation, student mentoring, project guidance, and faculty development activities. He has organized various technical workshops, CAD/CNC training programs, and alumni interaction sessions. He has also served as an MSBTE Question Paper Setter, External Examiner, Theory Examination Squad Member, and RAC Squad Member. He is committed to promoting quality technical education, research, innovation, and industry-oriented learning while continuously enhancing students' technical and professional skills
