Mr. N. S. Patil

My name is Nitin Patil, and I am currently serving as the Head of the Department (HOD), Electrical Engineering at Sanjay Ghodawat Institute, Atigre, Kolhapur, Maharashtra. I am passionate about engineering education, academic leadership, and student development. My responsibilities include leading the Electrical Engineering Department, enhancing academic quality, guiding faculty members, mentoring students, coordinating accreditation and curriculum-related activities, and strengthening industry–institute interaction. I believe in combining strong technical knowledge with practical learning through laboratory work, industrial exposure, seminars, workshops, and project-based education. My goal is to prepare students to become competent engineers who are ready to meet the demands of modern industries. Apart from academics, I actively contribute to curriculum development, faculty development programs, student admissions, and the use of innovative teaching methods and educational technologies. I am committed to creating a learning environment that encourages excellence, creativity, professionalism, and lifelong learning. I continuously strive to improve the quality of technical education and contribute to the growth and reputation of Sanjay Ghodawat Institute.
